We explain the key concepts in a simple way

Anti-Fraud Law

The Anti-Fraud Law is a Spanish regulation that requires companies to use secure invoicing software that prevents altering or deleting records once the invoice has been issued. Its goal is to strengthen tax control, ensure traceability of transactions, and promote greater transparency in invoicing processes.

Verifactu, SII, TicketBAI

Tax control systems that require companies to report their invoices electronically in order to comply with the Anti-Fraud Law. Verifactu is national and aimed at SMEs, TicketBAI applies in the Basque Country, and SII is for large companies, though any company can voluntarily adhere.

AEAT Certified Software

This is software that meets the technical and legal requirements established by the Tax Agency to comply with the Anti-Fraud Law. AEAT-certified software ensures compliance under any invoice submission system it integrates (Verifactu, SII, etc.).

Create and Grow Law

The Create and Grow Law is a Spanish regulation aimed at facilitating business creation, boosting growth, and promoting digitalization. The law promotes mandatory use of electronic invoicing as a tool to combat late payments between companies. It also seeks to improve access to alternative financing for SMEs.

Electronic invoice

The electronic invoice is a digital document with legal and tax validity that replaces the paper invoice. The Create and Grow Law requires its use among companies and freelancers to facilitate control, reduce fraud, and improve efficiency and payment timeliness.

Anti-Fraud Law vs Create and Grow Law

On the one hand, the Create and Grow Law aims to promote business digitalization and reduce late payments in commercial transactions.

On the other hand, the Anti-Fraud Law seeks to prevent tax fraud through strict control of invoicing systems.
